aneleise ruggles is a mixed media artist who creates primarily works on paper, while sprinkling in the occasional installation here and there. her subject matter often deals with elements of nature and is often inspired by the new england landscape.
"i am very much a process-oriented artist and i rarely begin a piece with an end result in mind. i love to give in to the creative process and i let the materials inform the direction of my work."
she also loves supporting other artists and has worked with artists through exhibition, education, and outreach for the last 10 years. she completed her masters in arts administration in 2015 and continues to find ways to support local artists both independently and through her work in the arts.
